Some Information About Me

I am currently a Professor of Management and Valade Research Scholar in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.

I teach, conduct research, and consult across a range of areas in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, including leadership, work analysis and design, work teams, and personnel selection and staffing. In addition to my day job, I am also currently an Associate Editor of Personnel Psychology, co-author of the leading job analysis book, on the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation, a member of the Editorial Committee for the Annual Review of Psychology, and a member of the Academy of Management’s HR Division Executive Committee.
